Telangana CS review preparations for World Telugu Conference

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary S.P. Singh on Monday directed the officials to speed up the works pertaining to conduct of World Telugu Conference in Hyderabad from 15th to 19th December.

Addressing a review meeting at the State Secretariat today, Singh asked the officials to constitute different committees to execute the works.

He said there would four venues of World Telugu Conference. He said proper arrangements should be made for food, transportation, barricading and other facilities.

He said there must be effective coordination among various departments. He said special arrangements should be made for the delegates from other States and foreign countries.

The meeting was attended by Sahitya Academy Chairman Dr. Nandini Sudha Reddy, Telugu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.V. Satyanarayana, State Libraries chairman A. Sridhar, Official Language Commission chairman D. Prabhakar Rao, Advisor to TS Govt Dr. K.V. Ramana Chary and other officials. (INN)
