KTR condemns TJAC’s meeting of jobless youth

Hyderabad: IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao has strongly condemned ‘Koluvulakai Kotlaata’ (fight for jobs) meeting held by Telangana Joint Action Committee today at Saroornagar Stadium.

Addressing a meeting after inaugurating various developmental works in Mahabubnagar, KTR alleged that a few leaders were indulging in cheap politics by taking along a retired professor. He asked opposition parties to clarify the real intention of their ‘fight for jobs’.

He said TRS Government has taken various measures to provide jobs to the youth. He said the process of filling up vacancies in different departments has already been initiated.

He said it was wrong to play politics by using jobless youth despite the clear assurance given by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao in Assembly that government would provide more than one lakh jobs.

KTR described the meeting as ‘drama’ being enacted by Congress leaders in collusion with TJAC leaders. He asked whether this fight was for Congress leaders Jaipal Reddy or Jana Reddy. He alleged that the Congress leaders, who are giving tall statements today, were not seen during Telangana movement.

He said that the people of Telangana have given mandate to TRS for a period of 60 months. He said that the TRS Government has 20 more months left to fill 1.20 lakh vacancies.

He accused the Congress leaders of creating obstacles in the development of Telangana by taking everything to court. He said despite all obstructions, TRS Government would complete all projects including Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation project.

Earlier, the minister distributed 310 double bed room houses among beneficiaries in Christianpally. Health Minister Dr. K. Lakshma Reddy, MP Jithender Reddy, MLA Srinivas Goud and other leaders were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that the government would fulfil its promise of giving 2.72 lakh double bed room houses to the poor.

KTR also laid foundation stone for construction of Government Medical College and by-pass road. (INN)
