Hyderabad: AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi distributed necessary equipment among the people with disabilities at government junior college Chanchalguda on Saturday.
He disbursed 28 motorized tricycles, 25 wheel chairs, 12 walking sticks, 37 tricycles and other items to 120 differently abled persons.
Speaking on this occasion, Asaduddin Owaisi urged officials to organise more camps to identify differently abled people and he assured them that he will allot funds from his MPLADs
“I’m the member of the parliamentary standing committee on Social justice and Empowerment. Any suggestion with regard to the development and Welfare of these people may be brought to my notice so that I can put it before the parliamentary standing committee” he said.
Owaisi asked the people to visit only Disabled Park located at Nalgonda X roads and avail the facilities being provided for differently abled persons. He appreciated the work being done by officials and thanked them for organising the camp.
Camp was organised by Department of Empowerment of person with disabilities ( Divyangjans), Ministry of social justice and empowerment, GOI
MLA Malakpet Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala, party Corporators and official were present during the occasion. (INN)
