HMDA official surrenders before ACB Court in DA case

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau Court has sent HMDA Planning Director Purshottam Reddy to two week judicial remand in the Disproportionate Assets case.

Purshottam Reddy, who was absconding ever since the ACB officials seized the documents of huge movable and immovable properties during raids on his residences and his relatives, surrendered before the ACB Court on Friday.

A Look Out notice was also issued by the government to prevent Purushotham Reddy from leaving the country.

After his surrender, the ACB Court had remanded Purshottam Reddy to judicial custody till March 1. Meanwhile, the ACB also opened the lockers of Purushotham Reddy’s relatives today. Gold and diamond ornaments were reportedly found in the lockers in Kotak Mahindra Bank. (INN)
