Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has assured that the government would fill all the vacant posts of Prosecuting Officers in the State.
Intervening on a question raised by TRS MLA V. Srinivas Goud during the Question Hour in Legislative Assembly on Monday, the Chief Minister said that the process of filling all posts of Public Prosecutors has already been initiated.
Earlier, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy informed that a total of 311 Prosecuting Officers posts were sanctioned. Of them, 83 posts were presently vacant. He admitted that the PPs were attending two to three courts due to vacancies. (INN)
