Ration Shop dealers to observe bandh tomorrow

Hyderabad: Nearly 17,000 ration shops across Telangana State would observe bandh on Monday to pressurise the State Government to resolve their pending issues.

According to Telangana Ration Shop Dealers Welfare Association president B. Ramesh Babu, State Government was not taking any interest in resolving the problems being faced by ration dealers.

He said dealers have been demanding that rice should be weighed using electronic machines. Further, they are also demanding the release of their pending dues.

Ramesh said that several agitations like rallies and hunger strike have failed to move the government. Therefore, he said that the dealers were forced to observe bandh as a last resort. (INN)
