Hyderabad: The Telangana Jana Samithi, newly floated political party of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, has got police permission to hold a public meeting.
The Hyderabad Police said that the TJS could conduct its public meeting at Saroornagar Stadium on April 29. They have asked the TJS leaders to approach the Ranga Reddy District Collector to obtain necessary permission.
Earlier in the day, TJAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram had strongly condemned the police behaviour and slammed it for not giving permission to hold any meeting.
He said when other organisations are being permitted to hold meetings, why was TJAC being denied permissions. He alleged that the TRS Government was afraid of TJAC and that was reason why it was not being allowed to hold meetings.
Kodandaram said that at one side TRS is making claims of winning over 100 seats in next election. On the other, it is not permitting the TJS to even hold a public meeting. He said that the people were not happy with the performance of TRS Government as it has failed to fulfill any major promise made during 2014 elections. (INN)
