TS intermediate results declared

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Friday declared the results of intermediate first and second years.

Speaking to media persons after releasing the results at the office of Board of Intermediate Education, the Deputy CM informed that the pass percentage for inter first year was 62.73% and it was 67.06% for intermediate second year.

Of 455,789 candidates of intermediate first year, as many as 284,224 have passed. Similarly, of 429,378 second year students, 288,772 have cleared the exams.

Like previous years, girls have outperformed boys in both inter first and second years. As against the boys’ pass percentage of 55%, girls pass percentage was 69%.

The Deputy CM informed that the Advanced Supplementary exams would be held from May 14 and the last date for applying for the same would be April 20. Online applications can be submitted for Re-counting and to get a scanned copy till April 20. (INN)
