KTR reviews arrangements for TRS Plenary session

Hyderabad: IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao said that the TRS Plenary session, to be held at Kompally on April 27, will discuss various issues including welfare schemes of State Government and the formation of third front at the national level.

KTR, along with Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy, GHMC Mayor Dr. Bonthu Rammohan and others, visited Kompally and reviewed the arrangements for TRS plenary session.

Addressing a press conference later, KTR informed that 12-13,000 delegates are likely to participate in the plenary session. He said the participation o fat least 100 party leaders and workers from each Assembly segment would be ensured.

KTR said that the session will be held from 10 AM to 5 PM on April 27 and since the day will be a Friday, separate arrangements are being made at the venue for Friday prayers.

He said eight kitchens were being set up at the venue to prepare food for the delegates. He said one medical team, health camp and four ambulances were also being arranged.

Nearly 500 volunteers will be deployed to serve the delegates and they will be trained by Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Tuesday. He said all the arrangements were being done under the supervision of nine different committees. (INN)
