Hyderabad: Craig Morgan, Mayor of Round Rock Texas, Mr. Laurie Hadley, City Manager have called on GHMC Mayor Dr. B. Rammohan today in his chambers at GHMC Head Office.
The visiting Mayor along with the City Manager has visited the Hyderabad City for some investments in Industries in Major IT Companies. In this connection, they have visited GHMC Head Office for an interaction with the Mayor. While interacting with the foreign delegates, Rammohan said that Hyderabad city was having a history of 425 years.
He said that the GHMC has signed Sister City Agreements with around 8 different cities in the World. The Telangana is one of the State in the country which is developing very rapidly when compare to that of other States.
Apart from this the IT, Industries and Pharma Companies are also coming up in the Hi-Tech Cities in coordination with various Countries. The Mayor has also explained about the Sanitation, Roads and overall development of the civic affairs.
Craig Morgan said that the City of Round Rock has a population of 11 lakh and many Indians are also residing in the city, he added. He also praised the well maintained roads, revenue resources and other civic developmental activities and further stated that they are willing to come up with the Sister City Agreement with the GHMC in the near future.
Saroj K. Patnaik, an Indian who is working for one of the companies in US has also accompanied the visiting Mayor.
Later, Rammohan presented a Charminar Memento to the visiting Mayor. (INN)
