Elaborate arrangements in place for EAMCET from tomorrow

Hyderabad: Elaborate arrangements have been made for the conduct of EAMCET 2018 from 2nd to 7th May.

According to EAMCET Convener Prof Yadaiah, a total of 147,958 candidates have applied for Engineering stream while 73,106 will appear for medicine.

For the first time, the examination will be conducted through online mode (Computer-based Test). JNTU-H authorities have reviewed the system and inspected the examination centres.

While exams for Medicine and Agriculture streams will be held on 2nd and 3rd May, the entrance exam for Engineering stream will be held on 4th, 5th and 7th May. There will be a holiday on May 6. A total of 14 regional centres have been established across Telangana State.

The EAMCET Convener has appealed the students to reach their examination centres two hours in advance. He said no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre if he/she is late even by one minute. (INN)
