Hyderabad: Air Commodore Nukala Narendar Reddy, Deputy Director General, NCC Directorate (AP&T) visited the land earmarked for NCC at Hasanparthy and Mamnoor Airfields today.
He appreciated 4(T) Air Squadron team of Warangal Group for their dauntless effort in starting flying last year and maintaining the Air Field in serviceable condition.
Air Commodore NN Reddy paid two-day visit to NCC Group Headquarters, Warangal to carry out the yearly administrative inspection.
During his visit the Dy DG was given a Guard of Honour by the smartly turned NCC cadets. Group Commander Colonel Rajinish Kapoor briefed the Dy DG on various activities conducted by Warangal Group NCC during last one year. He inspected the Group HQ, the local units and their affiliated institutions.
During his visit, Dy DG addressed all the officers, staff and congratulated them on their excellent performance. He applauded for their hard work and excellent results at Directorate and National levels. He exhorted that cadets must come forward and take up career in the armed forces as officers.
He emphasized on imparting focused training to cadets and also said that the very reason of NCC’s existence is the presence of the brave cadets.
The two days Administrative inspection by Dy DG concluded on a positive note by calling on Vice Chancellor, Kakatiya University and meetings with civil dignitaries at Warangal. (INN)
