HMRL celebrates TS Formation Day

Hyderabad: The 4th anniversary of formation of Telangana State was celebrated with much enthusiasm by Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) wherein Managing Director NVS Reddy unfurled the National Flag at Metro Rail Bhavan in Begumpet on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy stated that both the Telangana State and the Hyderabad Metro Rail project in PPP mode were considered impossible. But, due to relentless struggle, perseverance and hard work, they became a reality and won appreciation world over.

Though still in their early days, both have achieved tremendous progress and set several new benchmarks in the development agenda, he said.

Informing the employees that trial runs for the Ameerpet-LB Nagar stretch (16 km) of corridor-I would start soon, Mr.NVS Reddy indicated that works are also going on at a brisk pace on Ameerpet-Hitec city section (10 km) of corridor-III and JBS-MGBS section (10 km) of corridor-II.

Chief Electrical Engineer DVS Raju, Chief Engineer Pancham, Chief Signalling & Telecommunication Engineer K. Laxman, Chief Project Manager B. Anand Mohan along with senior officers, engineers and staff members participated in the celebrations. (INN)
