Forest Development Corporation starts works of two urban forest parks

Hyderabad: Government of Telangana has initiated steps for Development of Urban Forest Blocks to create facilities for urban population residing in and around Hyderabad.

As part of this 59 RF blocks are identified in HMDA limits and out of this four are allotted to TSFDC- Forest Development Corporation for Development.

One such block is LGM Pet RF Block with an area of 1030.94 Ha. On Wednesday, Chandan Mitra, Vice Chairman and Managing Director has inaugurated the Development works taken up in LGM (Lalgadi Malakpet RF). Second one is at Thumukunta – Shamirpet Cluster

E- tenders have been called for erection of Chain link fencing over 35.90 KMs with an estimated cost of Rs.7.17 Crores, to be completed within (6) Months period. In this area, visitor amenities like, Yoga centre, Gajebo, Watch tower, cycling track, Walking track and children’s play area are proposed. (INN)
