Owaisi welcomes HM Rajnath Singh’s comments on Muslims

Hyderabad: Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi welcomed the statement made by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh stating that Muslim have not allowed radicalisation of their community.

Speaking to media persons at MIM headquarters, Darussalam, on Saturday, Asaduddin Owaisi said in contract to Rajnath Singh’s comments, it is ironical that Vishwa Hindu Parishad says that an Ordinance must be promulgated for the construction of Ram Mandir at the Babri Masjid site.

“It is for the Home Minister of India to decide who is spreading radicalisation. It is their ideological sister organisations who are spreading radicalisation. He is right it is not Muslims,” he added.

Asaduddin Owaisi said, “It is these organisations which have become so radicalised that they don’t have respect for the Supreme Court, they don’t have respect for the Constitution of India and they want to run the country according to whims and desires of their ideology.”

Reacting to the reports about VHP setting the deadline for construction of Ram Mandir, he said that, “The party in power (BJP) and Prime Minister have to see how radicalised their sister organisations have become and it is high time to put an end to this.”
