EC approves seven more auxiliary polling stations

Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India has approved the proposals for creation of additional seven auxiliary polling stations proposed by the District Election Officer, Hyderabad District for conduct of elections to Telangana State Legislative Assembly on December 7,

where the voting strength exceeded 1500 in a polling station under the continuous updation of electoral rolls considered up to November 9.

Further, the Election Commission of India has also allowed the District Election Officer, Hyderabad district to continue the existing polling stations with above 1400 voters below 1500 voters in view of the Chapter 2.3 of the Manual on Polling Stations 2016 (with the constant increase in the electorate,

the Election Commission has allowed 1500 electors in a polling station in some States and instructed to take immediate necessary action in the matter.

The Citizens, Electors and all the stake holders have been requested to verify their name and polling station in the ECI, Website www.nvsp.in, CEO Website www.ceotelangana.nic.in,Naa Vote App created by Chief Electoral Officer,

Telangana to be downloaded from google play store and My GHMC App and GHMC Website www.ghmc.nic.in and exercise their franchise accordingly. (INN)
