Hyderabad: A month long orientation programme organized by UGC – Human Resource Development Centre
(HRDC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University successfully concluded today.
The programme was inaugurated on November 8. Prof. Radhaye Shyam Singh, Head, Department of Hindi, Kamla Nehru Institute of Physical and Social Sciences (KNIPSS), Sultan Pur while addressing the valedictory as the Chief Guest emphasized the role of teachers in Colleges and Universities.
He said that the intellectuals among the teachers are increasing but their knowledge is decreasing day by day. Teacher should not get attracted towards the wealth instead they should focus on study, teacher can reform the society, he remarked.
Orientation programme can be used to build a network of resources helpful for students. A total of 53 participants of different disciplines from various degree colleges and universities of different states took part in the orientation.
Dr. Tahseen Bilgrami, Deputy Director of UGC-HRDC welcomed the gathering and presented the report. Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Assistant Professor, UGC-HRDC proposed vote of thanks.
