CS reviews arrangements for President’s Winter Sojourn

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary Dr. S.K. Joshi on Monday reviewed the arrangements for arrival of President of India Ramnath Kovind to Hyderabad for the Winter Sojourn from 21st to 24th December.

The Chief Secretary held a meeting with the officials of various departments to review the arrangements. During the meeting, Joshi asked officials to make a comprehensive plan for the elaborate arrangements for the President’s visit.

He said that the President of India would arrive at Hakimpet Airport on December 21 at 5 pm and would stay at Rashtrapati Nilayam.

He said fool-proof arrangements should be made for travel, accommodation, uninterrupted power supply, repair of roads, sanitation, fire safety, CCTV monitoring and other related things.

The President will participate in a programme in Karimnagar on December 22 and host At Home at Rashtrapati Nilayam on December 23. He will return to Delhi on December 24. (INN)
