KCR directs officials for elaborate arrangements for Iftar Party on June 26 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, INN: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for official Iftar and Eid-ul-Fitr across the Telangana State.

The Chief Minister on Tuesday held a review meeting with the top officials of various departments at his camp office to discuss the Ramzan arrangements.

Deputy CM Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma, Principal Secretary to CMO Narsing Rao, Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel, ACB Director-General A.K. Khan and other senior officials were also present.

The Chief Ministers said that the official Iftar Party would be held on June 26 at Nizam College Grounds in Hyderabad which would be attended by public representatives, religious heads and other eminent personalities.

On the same day, Iftar parties would be organised across the State. The District Collectors would supervise the arrangements for Iftar parties in their respective districts.

The Chief Minister said free clothes would also be distributed among two lakh poor Muslims from 17th to 22nd June in 100 localities of Hyderabad. Likewise, clothes will be distributed in other 95 Assembly segments.

He also asked the officials to make proper arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers.
