TMREIS signs MoU with IIT-H for curriculum development

Hyderabad: B. Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) ina Press Statement today stated that TMREIS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad (IIT-H)

which would help the development of curriculum and teaching, establishment of advanced laboratories for Artificial Intelligence and conducting faculty development programmes and students workshops for futuristic educational TMREIS.

B. Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary TMREIS and Prof. B.S. Murty, Director of IIT-Hyderabad, entered into the agreement on October01 at IIT-Hyderabad campus in Kandi, Telangana.

The TMRIES hopes that this MoU would help in achieving excellence and high-quality standards in academic programmes. The pact would allow IIT-Hyderabad to provide mentorship to the students of TMREIS and enhance academic interest between IITH& TMREIS.

It will also provide advice for the implementation of quality education and helps in the establishment of Atal Tinkering Lab at TMREIS and Promote Research / continuing education activities between institutions.

B. Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary TMREIS said that this collaboration will improve the quality of teaching staff at TMREIS through short-term/long-term certificate courses at IIT – Hyderabad. In this connection the faculty of IIT- Hyderabad will also visit TMREIS institutions to provide necessary guidance and academic interaction by delivering special lectures on topics of relevance to modern Education.

It will also help to gain the necessary advice in organizing Workshops/Conferences and PersonalityDevelopment Programmes of IITHyderabad for enhancement of skills in respect of Faculty, Staff and Students of TMREIS.

The TMREIS will have all necessary support for the establishment of Atal Tinkering Lab, video satellite link and assistance in the development of E-class rooms, Lab, Curriculum, Training and Library etc. at TMREIS
