Telangana DGP directs SPs to work on reorganization

Hyderabad, INN: As the new Districts and Mandals are coming up in Telangana State, Director General of Police Anurag Sharma directed all the SPs to work on it and submit detailed proposals by August end.

The DGP conduct a video-conference with all the Superintendent of Polices on the issue on Monday.

The upcoming New Revenue divisions and Mandals will effect the existing police stations jurisdictions and hence, the new district Maps which were prepared by the district collectors should be looked into and prepare the Circle and Police stations wise maps by August end, said the DGP.

Each District SP Office is at least required a minimum 30 to 40 acres of land for building constructions and hence the SP s shall be discussed with the District Collectors and Revenue officials for acquiring or the available land.

They also have to be calculated the requirement of senior officers and Ministerial staff and the needful Budget for the new offices.

In the longer run, the other units of police department also have a chance to be sanctioned and hence the calculations must be in a rationalised manner including the Vehicles.

The DGP said that a senior officer from his office will be deputed to each district for quick monitoring and preparation of the draft proposals.

The video conference was also attended by the Senior Police Officers Dr.Purna Chandra Rao, M.Gopi Krishna, Govind Singh, Anjanee Kumar, T. Krishna Prasad, Ravi Gupta, Sandeep Shandilya, Bala Naga Devi, K. Srinivas Reddy, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Y. Nagireddy, Ajay Kumar, Ravi varma, Akun Sabarwal and Ramesh Reddy.
