Rajeshwar Reddy appointed Farmers’ Coordination Committee chairman

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to appoint MLC & TRS State General Secretary Palla Rajeshwar Reddy as President of State Level Farmers Coordination Committee.

The Chief Minister has instructed officials concerned to take up the appointment process of Rajeshwar Reddy as President of Farmers Coordination Committee.

He has asked the officials to release the appointment letter at the earliest. He also disclosed that members of the Farmers Coordination Committee will also be appointed shortly.

KCR has decided that by coming June, the farmers coordination committees will be strengthened from village to the State level and farmers in the state will become a formidable force. He also instructed the officials concerned to complete the Farmers Dias cluster-wise.

He is of the firm view that the farmers coordination Committees should be made into an organization which will help farmers from sowing the seeds to getting the minimum support price for their produce.

The Chief Minister also decided to have a high level review meeting in three or four days on strengthening the farmers coordination committees, making the farmers a formidable force, construction of farmers dais and other farmer related issues as well as on Agriculture department. (INN)
