Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the officials concerned to increase number of Basti Dawakhanas, which are rendering a great service to the poor in Hyderabad to 350.
The Chief Minister said that 118 Basti Dawakhans in the city are working very well and people are very happy with the services rendered by them.
The Basti Dawakhana’s number should be increased substantially. In the 150 Divisions in the city, two Basti Dawakhans should be established per Division.
Create more Dawakhans in the places where there is substantial population of the SCs, STs, Minorities and the poor. The CM instructed the officials open the new Basti Dawakhans within a month’s time. (INN)
