TSBIE warns junior colleges against ‘advance registration’ for inter admissions

Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel on Monday warned the managements of private colleges against making advance registration of students in Intermediate First Year.

“It has come to the notice of the Board that some of the private college managements are taking the services of their PROs / Representatives and they are approaching the parents for making advance registration of students in Intermediate First Year, which is against the norms of the Board.

All the Managements of Private Junior Colleges in the State are hereby informed that no college should make admissions for the academic year 2020-21, before beginning of the academic year 2020-21 and announcement of the admission schedule by the TSBIE.

Admissions made well in advance before announcement of the admission schedule will not be valid and stringent action will be initiated against the erring managements,” the TSBIE Secretary warned.

The Board has requested the parents not to take admissions in the colleges for their children before publication of list of affiliated junior colleges by the TSBIE and to enquire and confirm whether the college in which they wish to take admission has affiliation for the academic year 2020-21.
