Intermediate exams begin in Telangana

Hyderabad: More than 95% students of first year students appeared for the Intermediate Public Examination 2020 which began on Wednesday.

According to the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, the 1st Year students appeared for 2nd Language Paper – I across the State. Of 480,531 registered candidates, as many as 457,899 were present while 23,632 or 4.7% were absent. Six cases of malpractice were booked.

They include five cases in Suryapet and one case in Warangal Urban districts.

Observers from Board were sent to various districts. Except for six cases of malpractice, the examination was conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents. (INN)
