Haj pilgrims from TS picked for free stay at Rubaat

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali appreciated the efforts of the former Nizam of Hyderabad in the service of the Haj pilgrims by establishing Rubats (Guest Houses) in Makkah and Madeena in KSA.

The Deputy CM said that the present government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was following the footsteps of the late Nizam as for as the service to the Haj pilgrimsis concerned.

He expressed his happiness for getting the contentious issue of the Rubath in Makkah resolved in a smooth manner.

He said that the selected pilgrims will also be offered free food during their stay at Makkah by the Naazir of the Rubaat.

Stat Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor said that the Haj pilgrims belonging to the area under the erstwhile Nizam State comprising of 10 districts of Telangana, seven districts of Maharashtra and four districts of Hyderabad Karnataka are eligible for free stay at Rubaat of Hyderabad at Makkah during Haj 2016.

He highlighted the role of the State Haj Committee and said that it has been adjudged as the best Embarkation Point in the country.

Nazir of the Rubath in Makkah Hussain Shareef announced that the dispute with the Awqaf Committee of the HEH Nizam has been resolved and free accommodation to the Haj pilgrims would be provided. (INN)
