Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s residence in New Delhi on Friday.
In the meeting, which lasted for 50 Minutes, the CM requested the Prime Minister to solve several issues pertaining to the state. He submitted letters to PM Modi on 10 issues.
CM KCR demanded that the Centre review the IPS Cadre; Establish Integrated Textile Park in Telangana; Develop Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor; Set up Navodaya Schools in the new districts; Release additional funds for the PM Garmin Sadak Yojana; Take up road works in the Maoists influenced regions and set up IIIT in Karimnagar, IIM in Hyderabad and a Tribal University in the Telangana State.
The CM also requested the PM to allot land to the state government to construct an official building of State Government “Telangana Bhavan” in New Delhi. He also requested the PM to come for the inauguration of the renovated Yadadri Temple in September/October. The PM has positively responded to the request and gave clear-cut assurances. (INN)
