Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that Bharat Jodo Yatra by Rahul Gandhi has been getting tremendous response from all sections of society and giving a boost to the morale of the Congress cadre.
He said that seven districts in Telangana were covered by the Yatra so far. He said that Rahul Gandhi had started this yatra with a noble cause. This Yatra is not only meant for the elections but to interact and meet all sections of society.
He said that Rahul Gandhi has been meeting and listening to all sections of society and all groups. Jai Ram Ramesh said that all social groups were suffering under the misrule of TRS in Telangana. He spoke to the media in Danampally of Andole Mandal on Saturday.
Jairam Ramesh clarified that Bharat Jodo Yatra does not have any link to the elections in different states in the country in the coming days. He reiterated that the Congress party had made a sacrifice for the sake of Telangana and made it possible despite knowing that it will suffer.He said that there was no difference between the Modi and KCR governments in the centre and the state. He said that these governments were the double engines running on the same track. (INN)
