Physically challenged persons are cared for very well: Srinivas Goud

Hyderabad: Excise Minister A. Srinivas Goud said that it was Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who was taking care of physically challenged persons in the State.

He said that the previous governments would release only Rs 200 as pension to the handicapped before Telangana but his government was giving Rs 3016 to them now. He was speaking during a program of the Residential Schools Old Boys Association gathering on Sunday in Mahabubnagar. He said that the government was doing many welfare activities for physically handicapped persons. He said that sports activities were also being encouraged among physically challenged persons. (INN)
