CM KCR launches the ninth phase of Haritha Haram

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) launched the ninth phase of the Haritha Haram program on Monday as part of the Telangana Formation Decade Celebrations. The program was held at the Thummaloor urban forest park in Rangareddy district.

In his address, KCR said that the government has set a target of planting 19.29 crore saplings across the state in the ninth phase of Haritha Haram. He also said that the government has spent Rs. 10,822 crores on the program so far.

KCR highlighted the importance of afforestation and said that it is essential to protect the environment. He urged the people to participate in the Haritha Haram program and make Telangana a green state.

Ministers Sabita Indra Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy, MP Ranjith Reddy, Rachakonda CP Chauhan, and senior government officials participated in the program.Earlier, CM KCR visited the park in a safari vehicle and observed the photo exhibition and the materials of the forest officials.  (INN)
