Hyderabad: A group of students from government schools in Telangana visited the Legislative Council on Saturday. The students were welcomed by MLCs K Kavitha and Vani Devi, who gave them a tour of the council and explained its functioning.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy also interacted with the students and answered their questions about the council. The students were excited to learn about the workings of the council and were eager to participate in the discussion.
MLC Kavitha said that the visit to the council would help the students understand the importance of public service and encourage them to get involved in politics. She said that the students were the future of the country and that it was important for them to be aware of the political process.The students enjoyed their visit to the council and said that they learned a lot about the workings of government. They said that they were inspired by the MLCs and Chairman Sukhender Reddy and that they wanted to follow in their footsteps and serve the people. (INN)
