Hyderabad:Â Kommrambhim Asfafabad District Collector Borkade Hemant Sahadeva Rao has called on all eligible voters in the district to register their names in the voter list. He said that there is a special voter registration program underway till September 19 and that everyone who has completed 18 years of age should take advantage of this opportunity.
The collector made the appeal on Friday while handing over Form 6 to the booth-level officer for registration of the name in the voter list at the district collector camp office in the district centre. He was accompanied by his wife Revathi.The collector said that it is the duty of every citizen to vote and to choose their representatives. He urged the officials to work in a coordinated way to ensure that the voter registration program is a success. He also said that the name of every eligible voter in the district should be accurately entered into the voter list. (INN)
