IT employee Rudra Rachna ties Rakhi to Minister KTR

Hyderabad: Rudra Rachna, an IT employee, tied a rakhi to Telangana IT and Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Monday morning at his residence in Hyderabad. She had gone to meet him after he returned from his foreign trip.

She is an orphan girl who was able to study and get a job in an IT company with the help of Minister KTR. Last year, she also donated Rs.1 lakh to the CM Relief Fund from her salary.

Rudha Rachna hails from Dadhiyala village in Kathalapur mandal of Jagtial district. She lost her parents when she was young and was raised in a local orphanage. She studied at Jagtial Government Girls High School till 10th standard. After that, she completed her polytechnic education while staying at State Home, Yousafguda, Hyderabad. She got an engineering seat in the computer science branch at CBIT College, Hyderabad through the entrance exam. However, as she was parentless, Rudra Rachna could not pay her engineering fees.

In 2019, the minister came to know about Rudra’s situation through social media and called her to Pragati Bhavan. He assured her that he would bear the necessary expenses for the completion of her engineering studies.

According to his promise, Minister KTR bore Rudra Rachna’s engineering fees and hostel-related expenses from his personal earnings. After completing her engineering with KTR’s financial assistance, Rudra Rachna got jobs in four leading companies in campus placements.She met the minister again at Pragati Bhavan on that occasion and he was happy to know about her education and employment. Rudra Rachna expressed her gratitude to the minister for helping her succeed in life with self-confidence even though she had no one to support her. (INN)
