Harish Rao inaugurates 1000-bed government hospital in Siddipet

Hyderabad:  Health Minister T. Harish Rao said that the Telangana Government has revolutionized the medical system by making it accessible to everyone, including children of farmers and laborers. He was speaking at the inauguration of the 1000-bed government hospital built at Siddipet.

Harish Rao said that the hospital offers a wide range of services, including heart surgeries and cancer treatment. It also has 15 operation theaters, 100 ICU beds, and 30 emergency beds.

He said that there was no need to go to Hyderabad for medical services anymore. He also announced that 40 dialysis beds will be added to the hospital soon.

The hospital also has a super specialty critical care block that was set up at a cost of Rs. 23 crores. Rao said that modern medical services are available in Siddipet for all kinds of diseases.In addition, Harish Rao announced that staff nurses have been promoted to be called nursing officers. (INN)
