MANUU to start BA Evening College – Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan

Hyderabad: “Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is going to start BA Evening College in
MANUU Model School from next academic year with the aim to further expand educational
opportunities and access for students”. Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, MANUU
announced this today in the opening ceremony of Maulana Azad Day Celebrations at Model School,
Falaknuma, Hyderabad.
Prof. Ainul Hasan further said apart from B.A. programme, B.Com. and B.Sc. will also be
introduced in future. Addressing school students he advised them to focus on curricular as well as
extra-curricular education. He also advised them to improve linguistic skills and to acquire
proficiency in both Urdu and English languages. Teachers are the real guardians of students who
plays an important role in developing their hidden talents, he added. The Vice Chancellor also
inaugurated a Wall Magazine and an Art and Science Exhibition.
Earlier, the students presented a splendid cultural programme blended with social messages
showcasing their talents through a diverse range of programs including speeches, songs, dance
performances, pyramids, dramas, and other activities.
Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed emphasized the enduring relevance of Azad Day Celebrations,
highlighting how the principles and values of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad remain a source of
inspiration for today’s world.
Prof. Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Chairperson, Azad Day Celebration Committee & Prof. Siddiqui Mohd
Mahmood, OSD-II also addressed.
Prof. M. Vanaja, Dr. Zair Hussain, Prof. Mohd Abdul Sami Siddiqui, Prof. Mushtaq Patel were
also present.
Prizes and mementos were also distributed to students in recognition of their performance in
academics.
Dr Kafeel Ahmad, Principal, Model School delivered the welcome address. Ms. Asia Anjum Ara,
Head Mistress, proposed Vote of Thanks.
