Telangana will compete with fast developing nations: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said that his government’s policy is to promote Telangana state to compete with other fast-developing countries worldwide.

Addressing the CII Telangana & TDF – USA conference on Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurial Opportunities here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that the State Government would extend all kinds of support to the investors and entrepreneurs.

“Regardless of politics, former chief ministers YS Rajashekhar Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, and K Chandrashekhar Rao pursued the policies for Hyderabad’s development. My government will not compromise on the development of Hyderabad and Telangana State,” he said.

Revanth Reddy announced that the state government would continue the good decisions made by the previous regimes to develop Hyderabad City. “We will move forward with the support of CII in creating education and employment opportunities in Telangana,” he said.

The Chief Minister said the Telangana Government was ready to develop 64 ITIs as Skill Development Centers at Rs 2,000 crore. “Consultations with stakeholders are in progress to set up Skill Universities. The State Government will present degree certificates to those students who joined for skill development training,” he announced.

Revanth Reddy also announced that a Dry Port would soon be set up in Telangana. “The proposal to develop Outer Ring Road (ORR) was opposed in the past. Now, the ORR became a lifeline for Hyderabad,” he said. (INN)
