Hyderabad: Today (Wednesday) marked the hottest day of the current summer in Hyderabad, with temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius.According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society, the maximum temperature reached 40.1 degrees Celsius in the Sheikhpet area, while Begum Bazaar recorded a high of 39.9 degrees Celsius. Other regions experienced similar scorching temperatures, with Uppal at 39.7 degrees, Asif Nagar at 39.6 degrees, and Saroornagar, Kapra, and Golconda all registering 39.5 degrees Celsius.
