CM Revanth pays tributes to Doddi Komaraiah

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hailed Doddi Komaraiah as a warrior for risking his entire life in the fight against the autocratic rule and liberating Telangana people by raising the flag of self-respect.

The Chief Minister remembered the sacrifices and fighting spirit of Telangana armed struggle leader Komaraiah on Wednesday (April 3), the occasion of his birth anniversary. 

Revanth Reddy said that his government took inspiration from Komaraiah to abolish dictatorial rule and establish a people’s government in the state. He said that Komaraiah’s sacrifices, the first martyr in the Telangana armed struggle, will be remembered forever, and his government is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the great Telangana martyr.

“The State government is already striving to uplift the poor and weaker sections. Free power supply up to 200 units to poor families, cooking gas cylinder at Rs Rs. 500, free TSRTC bus travel for women, Indiramma house, and a slew of welfare schemes and subsidies for BC communities are already being implemented,” he said.  The Chief Minister said that the government brought Praja Palana (People‘s government) in the state by taking inspiration from the Armed Struggle for liberation from dictatorial rule. The state is taking into consideration everyone’s opinion and also giving opportunity to all to express their views openly. He also said that the government accorded top priority to social justice in the appointments at all levels, including the formation of the state cabinet. On this occasion, the Chief Minister paid glorious tributes to the first martyr of the Telangana armed struggle  Komaraiah. (INN)
