Hyderabad: Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy said that the TRS government was a pro-working class government and was doing its best for their welfare.
Speaking to members of labourers wing of the party her on Sunday, Nayani said that the State Government was taking up numerous welfare measures for the general workers and labourers.
He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was a pro-workers’ leader and is bothered about the welfare of the working class. He said that the government was striving to protect the interests of the construction labourers.
The State Government is providing an insurance of Rs 5 lakh to workers, drivers and journalists in the state. He also said that the government was contemplating to provide ESI medical services for the construction workers also.
Earlier governments neglected the welfare of the workers, he rued. (INN)
