Hyderabad: As many as 1698 pilgrims have left for Jeddah by five Chartered Air India flights from Hyderabad through Telangana State Haj Committee.
ACB DG A. K. Khan flagged off the fifth Haj batch today at Haj House. Speaking to the pilgrims, A. K. Khan advised them to eat and drink less during Haj journey to avoid ailments.
Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel requested them to practice resilience and patience during Haj. Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S. A Shukoor told the pilgrims that in case of any problems they can contact the Khadim-ul-Hujjaj there.
Earlier today, Prof. Shukoor flagged off the 4th batch of the pilgrims.
On Wednesday, three flights with a capacity of 340 each will leave for Jeddah at, 6:10 am, 9:10 am and 9:30 pm respectively. (INN)
