Hyderabad: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga said that the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should act responsibly with regard to categorisation of Scheduled Castes.
Speaking at a public meeting organized by the MRPS and MSF at Osmania University campus on Sunday, Krishna Madiga said that the two CMs should lead all parties’ delegation to New Delhi and mount pressure on the Centre on categorisation of the SCs.
He urged the CMs of the both the state to ensure that the SC categorisation Bill is introduced in the Parliament at the earliest.
He said that the SC categorisation movement would be intensified in the days to come.
The MRPS chief said that a massive public gathering on the issue would be orgainsed on November 20 in Hyderabad to mount pressure on the Centre to solve the SC categorisation at the earliest. (INN)
