TS Assembly session again from Sept 20

Hyderabad: The next session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly will be held from September 20.

The decision was taken in the meeting of Business Advisory Council which was chaired by Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary.

According to sources, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has expressed inability to continue the session due to security reasons. He said large number of security personnel were required for the Assembly session.

However, the police personnel need to be deployed across the twin cities in view of Ganesh and Bakrid festivals.

Therefore, the Chief Minister said that a 10-day Assembly session would be convened from September 20. He said the session could be extended for another five days, if required.

The BAC meeting was attended by representatives of all political parties. (INN)
