Hyderabad: Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao said that the state government would create Siddipet as a new district as part of its reorganisation of the districts on Dasara.
Speaking at a function to distribute clay Ganesha idols in Siddipet, the minister said that the state government was committed to develop Siddipet on all fronts. He said that on his part he would ensure that the new district gets all the required infrastructure and other facilities.
He advised the people to use only clay Ganesh idols to avoid polluting waters bodies while immersion. (INN)
