Dattatreya hits out at KCR for not celebrating ‘Liberation Day’

Hyderabad: Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya reminded that the TRS chief Chandrasekhar Rao who had said that Telangana Liberation Day would be organized officially after the state formation, failed to keep his own words. It seems that the CM is not aware of the history of Hyderabad.

Speaking at a function at Ramanthpur after unveiling Sardar Patel statue, the Union Minister appealed the students and the youngsters to write letters to the Chief Minister appealing him to celebrate September 17 as Telangana Liberation Day officially at least from next year.

Speaking to media BJP state unit chief Dr. K. Laxman came down heavily on Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao saying that the CM was pursing opportunistic politics on the issue of Liberation Day. (INN)
