GITAM University will organize workshops on ‘Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics’ (ACFD-2015) and ‘Engineering Optimisation Theory and Practice’ (EOTP) at its campus in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Resources persons for the workshop, which will be held from December 14 to 16, are P. Nithiarasu from College of Engineering, Swansea University, UK and S.S. Rao from University of Miami, Florida, USA.
“ACFD workshop is designed to deliver essential CFD knowledge to engineers and scientists. In addition to reminding the participants of the basics of CFD, interesting applications and information about the current state-of-the-art will also be discussed,” read a press release from the university.
Those who are interested to participate in the workshop needs basic understanding of fluid flow and engineering mathematics as a prerequisite. The workshop in EOTP would provide training in the basics as well as the application-orientated techniques in a comprehensive manner.
“It helps to solve practical problems and gives exposure to different case studies and hands on practice using optimisation tool box in MAT Lab,” the press release stated.
Practicing Engineers from Industry, CFD Researchers in Academia, Scientists and Research Engineers, CFD Teachers and Consultants and CFD Software Developers and users can attend this three day workshop.
