Hyderabad: Rio Olympics silver medalist PV Sindhu and her coach Pullela Gopichand will be felicitated by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya at the ‘Alai Balai’ programme to be organized by the union minister to mark Dasara fete.
Along with Sindhu and Gopichand, Malavath Poorna, the youngest girl to scale Mount Everest and several others will also be felicitated.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana N. Chandrababu Naidu and K. Chandrashekar Rao, Union ministers including M Venkaiah Naidu, Nirmala Sitharaman and Sujana Chowdary will be among those invited for the event, the sources informed. (INN)
