Hyderabad’s Azhar Maqsusi Features in Hotstar show, hosted by Big B

Hyderabad’s large-hearted Azhar Maqsusi, who feeds poor hungry people daily under a flyover in Dabeerpura area near Chanchalguda Railway Station, has been featured in Aaj Ki Raat Hai ZIndagi show of Hotstar, hosted by Amitabh Bhachchan (Big B).

Former Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin, who hails from Hyderabad, has gifted a cricket bat, helmet, jersey & kit to Azhar Maqsusi on the show.

He started feeding poor three years ago when one day he saw a physically handicapped woman Ms Lakshmi begging near the railway station. He can be contacted through his Facebook page.

He spends nearly 25 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses, one litre of oil and spices every day, in addition to remuneration for the cook, according to a DC report. He enjoys feeding the poor with his own hands.
