Golden Telangana not possible if welfare sector is neglected: CPI

Hyderabad: CPI secretary Chada Venkat Reddy demanded the state government to release white paper on the financial condition of the state saying that the government has completed neglected the welfare of the people.

Speaking to media, the CPI leader slammed KCR for his statement that the Opposition would bag not more than 7 to 8 seats in the next elections.

He said that going by the present scenario of the state, it would not be possible for the government to achieve Golden Telangana.

How can the TRS achieve Golden Telangana when it has neglected welfare sector, the CPI leader questioned.

The CPI leader took potshots at KCR saying that the government released the notification for the new districts at mid-night and later claimed that the reorganization of districts was a smooth affair.

He demanded the government to clear arrears under Arogyasri scheme and waive off farm loans at the earliest and warned of wide-spread agitation if the government fails to do so. (INN)
