Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager held a review meeting on progress of targeted works towards elimination of level crossings with all Principal Heads of Departments (PHODs) at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on Friday.
Ravindra Gupta conducted a detailed review on the progress of traffic facility works which are targeted for completion in 2016-17 financial year.
He stressed upon the completion of targeted Road Under Bridges (RUBs), Road Over Bridges (ROBs), Limited Height Subways (LHS) at Manned and Unmanned Level Crossings (UMLCs).
He directed officials to adhere to the targets set by Railway Board for elimination of identified 170 UMLCs by various modes.
Senior officials including Additional General Manager A.K.Gupta were present in the meeting. (INN)
