Hyderabad: The State Government on Saturday released Rs. 184 crore for the construction of a cable bridge to be built across the Durgam Cheruvu lake in Hyderabad.
It may be mentioned that the state government had proposed to construct a Cable Bridge from BR Ambedkar Open University to Durgam Cheruvu.
The government has planned to develop the lake as a tourist spot as part of its tourism promoting initiative. The GHMC and the state government will bear Rs 92 crore each for the project. (INN)
